It has been my dream to assist you in achieving better health and well being.
My name is Lynda, and I have spent the last 20 years learning about the amazing human body and how what we eat and how we live impacts our health. I received my Personal Training Certification from NPTI and went on to obtain my degree in Sports Management from CALU. I have operated my own group training business for women, and have learned so much by observing my clients’ successes and failures.
The purpose of this site is to provide “easy-to-understand” health and fitness information to the average person – you know – the people who don’t read the “muscle bound” magazines or take handfuls of supplements every day. The people I want to reach are the people with busy lifestyles who just can’t seem t make good health and fitness happen the way it should.
It has been my experience that there is just too much misinformation out there, and it is becoming more and more difficult to understand how it all relates to your individual health.
What I want to do is filter this misinformation for you, so that you have a better understanding of how to maintain good health – that is, how to take you Beyond Health Basics!

Good health is not a mystery; you just need to understand a few basic principles of how the body works. Most people know that if you eat large amounts of food you will gain weight. But there is so much more to it, and the good news is that it’s not very hard to understand.
Allow me to help you learn how the body works, and what it needs to obtain good health. So take a seat and dive in! I have put some of my best advice and knowledge here for your benefit. You may not be aware of this but each of the topics listed are important pieces of the puzzle called good health.
